Oh, my goodness! I never use a computer! Why, my sister Sythie was at the downtown Carbondale library a few years ago, looking for an article about mating whales, and the librarian told her to go get on the computer and see if she could find it there. Well, Sythie sat up there on that monitor for about 2 and a half hours and saw nothing but people's dirty looks. She says she'll never crawl up on one of those useless machines again.
As for me, well, the only thing that goes on line at my house is the laundry!

Is there help for Sythie or is the lifelong scar of being named Sythie just too much to overcome?
Oh, well...we all have our crosses to bear.
Anything good in the fridge?

Poor Sythie. I'm afraid it doesn't matter. She got married the other day because she thought it would change her name. "What do you mean, just the last part?" she said? I just put the lock back on the fruit celler and went about my business.
How do you know if kraut has gone bad? I'm a little apprehensive.

Somewhere a nation of Germans is collectively cringing...
I think that may be in Germany actually...
For that matter, can a nation do anything without doing it collectively?
Ahh, but I'm being redundant... over and over again.
Ze kraut is bad if it still blames ze chews...
It's always something.

I know! And it's never nothing, is it?
Well, I couldn't wait for an answer, so I served my bridge club Kraut and crackers. They LOVED it! So much so, that after we ate, we proceeded to erect the entire south span to where it meets the western approach.

Exactly! We see eye to eye...and with such deep finesse.
I was saying just the other day to my friend Robert, who is fond of repeating the ever so popular phrase, "It is what it is", that the statement is so unarguably true.
Could he give me even one instance where something was NOT what it was?
His immediate retort, "Janitor in a drum"...
I have to rethink everything.

He is a wise one, that Robert. Seek his wisdom. There is much more he is telling you, if you remain receptive. Respond to him in this fashion: "I don't recall ordering pepperoni?"
He will understand.

That's the most disturbing part. I have absolutely no recollection of ordering pepperoni, yet there it is; nestled in the melted mozzarella on my thin crust pizza!
I can hear his words... "It is, what it is"... yes... of course!
